Vijaypur is a prominent town located in the Samba district of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India. This town was officially designated as a "Notified Area Committee" known as Vijaypur, following the notification vide SRO 81 and its confirmation by Section 283 of the Jammu and Kashmir Municipal Act 2008 on February 26th, 1974.
